The Influence of the Youth to the Climb of STDs Cases

There’s been a troubling trend concerning sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and adolescents. The trend on STD cases among youngsters aged from 10-15 years old has been rising, particularly on Genital Warts and Gonorrhea.

In many countries, the average age of men and women infected with STDs is around 16-18 years old. Looking at the society we are living on today, it is quite obvious how we are glorifying sex. It comes with no surprise that lots of the younger generation are infected with these illnesses. STDs mainly multiply through unprotected sex, and the vast number of kids that do not use any protection certainly do not help to the cause of preventing the spread.
