What Happens In An Intensive Residential Treatment Program?
It is a sad but true fact of life that some young people get into trouble. I suppose you could argue that most kids get into some sort of trouble because that’s part of life, of growing up. But in this article we are talking about serious trouble. We’re talking about teens who fall into the drug culture, who carry out acts of violence, who threaten family members and school officials, who run with a gang and commit crimes, who have very poor social skills, a perverted attitude towards matters sexual, who run away and even those who give up on school and have no interest in any academic study. These young people are often a danger to themselves and to others. Their behavior is extreme and requires an extreme remedy.
