Adolescent Medicine

Adolescent medicine is a medical subspecialty that deals primarily with the care and treatment of patients who are in the adolescent stage of development. This period typically starts between the ages of nine to 11 for females and 11 to 14 for males.  Considered as a primary care subspecialty, adolescent medicine integrates various iatrical aspects including dermatology, endocrinology, gynecology, nutrition, psychology and sports medicine. It is likewise an integral component of internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, and youth health.

FREE KIDS HEALTH AND SAFETY FAIR PREPARES SO CAL YOUTH FOR SAFE SUMMER FUN

Orange County kids and their families are invited to bring their bikes to the Kids Health and Safety Fair on Saturday, June 12 from 9 a.m to 12 p.m. (noon) at 2212 E. Fourth Street, Santa Ana outside of the St. Joseph Heritage Medical Group building.

In preparation for the summer, the St. Joseph Heritage Medical Group is hosting a morning of bicycle and skateboard fun! Kids can enjoy a skateboard demo by Shred Ed, a local skateboarding company and free bicycle checks by the Bicycle Tree (only while supplies last).
